I have quite recommendations list of these from my own seeking out of diverse books. My taste does usually run to adult fantasy and SciFi, with a smattering of YA but I’ll share what I have! I also haven’t read all these so any other input would be great if anyone recognizes someone the like/dislike.
(This is what’s on my work desk in the form of Post it notes)
By author name, these were picked up off a recent call for writers of color on Chuck Wendig’s blog:

Greg van Eekhout
Ken Liu

Jenn Brissett
Silva Moreno-Garcia
SL Huang
Nalini Singh
Samit Base

The Tankborn series by Karen Sandler is one of the few YA book series I’ve seen with a person of color on the cover so that bodes well. I’m wanting to try it soon
For LGBTQA fiction, these are a lot of YA and some adult. I would recommend the Booktuber WoolfsWhistle. She’s adorable and has great, honest videos. She reads and seeks out queer fiction almost exclusively.
Tell Me Again How A Crush Should Feel
Lies my Girlfriend Told Me by Julie Anne Peters
What We Left Behind by Robin Talley
Fans of the Impossible Life by Kate Scelsa
Everything Leads to You by Nina LaCour
The Fair Fight by Anna Freeman
Sarah Waters books in general
Starting From Here by Lisa Jenn Bigelow
The Captive Prince series by C.S. Pacat
On a source note I got a lot of these from Twitter and Booktubers. Those places are a gold mine! Also a good Twitter specifically to seek out is the We Need More Diverse Books, they have great recommendations
